I'm hoping to continue outfit posts as usual, although quite a few of them may have to be inside or feature my snow boots. My roommates have made fun of my extensive amount of dresses already, but I am going to persevere with wearing them, even if I do get funny looks!
I just wanted to say thanks for reading! This blog has been one of the constant forms of support in my life even though everything else is changing all the time, and I have been blessed with meeting so many friends since I've started this. So...thanks for your comments, tweets, everything. You're awesome!

Tights as knee highs...still staying up! See my last post for more info.
I'm not sure how I feel about this poncho, I feel like it's a hard look to rock. Do you wear a sweater underneath? Belt it? I don't know. Are you into the poncho trend?

I haven't been to Tahoe in a few years! I bet it's beautiful right now. :)
Honestly, regarding your question to the poncho - I LOVE it! In fact, I want to find one exactly the same.
I really love this whole outfit - you look beautiful!
xx Elanor
Holy good looking photos! I think the poncho works great in this wintery forest, but a sweater would be lovely under as long as it isnt too bulky!
I am insanely in love with these shots! They're beautiful, and you look wonderful frolicking in the snow in that adorable outfit. I like the way you paired the poncho with the dress (even if you did get made fun of) and sweet boots! Congratulations on moving!
Your new home looks pretty magical! Congratulations on the move. I'm with you on the blog being constant while (literally) everything else changes.
I love the poncho trend (or would if all my poncho things weren't in storage in another country). I tried belting a bit last year, but ultimately tend to leave them loose because I find the belt gets shifted as soon as you move your arms....
This outfit is awesome :)
Congrats on your move. *sigh* I miss skiing - go down a steep one for me will you? ;)
I want a red riding hood cape. I love you! Have a fabulous time in Tahoe! Are you going to be there in February?
Beautiful blog! So, an extra wide belt is a good way to cinch up the poncho and keep warm - but yes, too much arm movement and it comes loose...
I LOVE the poncho - would look cute with a wide belt, but also looks great as it is! The only problem i find with ponchos is carrying a bag....
photos are beautiful, so jealous of the snow!

love the print on the dress!
I like the poncho. It looks good with the rest of the outfit. And these snowy pictures are lovely. :)
And congrats on the move and the new job! That sounds like so much fun.

Your outfits have been SO great lately. I love the dress and you totally rock the poncho.
Being a ski instructor sounds like loads of fun!! We still have hardly gotten snow this year, so I've yet to hit the slopes. ):
Love the images! And the outfits are amazing!

I feel the same way about ponchos. I think they are so adorable, but I can't help feeling like it would look nicer on me if I were a graceful, tall, swangirl! I think you look beautiful in your vintage poncho, but I happen to think you look beautiful in everything and I also wish I could ransack your vintage coat collection!!

I would belt the front two flaps, but not the back, if that make any sense...
