Snow Lady

Vintage Dress

Vintage Dress

As you can tell from my scantily clad shoulders in these pictures, it is warm here! So warm that all the snow and ice has been melting. It's been fun, but now I want the snow gods to do their thing and bring back the powder. I have been getting a serious goggle tan, which I'm not sure is all that cool, as much as my ski obsessed roommates tell me it is.

I'm going to start learning telemark skiing so I can give my body a break from alpine skiing for a day or so every week. I'm really excited to learn something new, and I'm hoping that all the lunging is going to do wonders for my poor legs, who haven't visited the gym anytime recently.

Vintage Dress

This is the first time that I've worn this dress (actually a skirt) because it squishes me in all the wrong places, but I figured I may as well give it a try. I love the print; it has little strawberries and flowers all over it. This whole outfit is thrifted. I love it when that happens!

I went on a trip to Quincy over the weekend, and had so much fun eating sushi, snowshoeing, and buying tons of food with my roommates. I'm going to post some pictures of our snowshoe trip as soon as I have a moment. Snowshoeing was great fun, but as soon as we got to the top of the mountain I wished I had my skis on. I'm totally addicted to being on my skis. I think I would rather ski than walk anywhere! I used to feel that way about swimming. It's funny how things have changed!

Do you have a sport that you practice almost every day?

I loooove that dress! It looks lovely on you. In answer to your question, I don't have a sport right right now, but up until 2 years ago I was dancing in the studio almost every day. I really miss it!

I love that outfit! That's awesome that the whole thing was thrifted :) If there were mountains in Indiana, I'd be skiing too. We have the snow, just no means to ski on it, haha!

Thank you for following my blog! I really appreciate it, and I hope you like what you see. :)
I love your outfit! I've always toyed with the idea of wearing a skirt for a dress, but I've never worn it out of my room! x) It looks great on you.

These pictures are both gorgeous and cringe-worthy. Why the latter? Because I'd be all "oooh it's like she's in Narnia" and then you go and bare your shoulders, and I just mentally shiver for you! I'm probably just projecting, since it got to around single digit degrees here in the Midwest, brrr...

And does power sitting at the computer all day count as a sport?

I ski once a year for 3 days, that's the extent of my physical activity. Pretty sad...
